Chuck Wales and Amy Wiley have a small farm for Navajo-Churro sheep.
We are located in Pleasant View Colorado, 20 miles north of Cortez, between the Dolores and San Juan Rivers, and on the edge of Hovenweep Canyon, on the Utah border. Right now we have registered Navajo Churro Sheep, a guard llama, 2 guard dogs and 3 cats. We sell registered (and registerable) ewes and rams, fleece, roving, and locker lambs. Pictured is Luna, a 4 year old badgerface. She had 2 beautiful ram lambs last year (07), sired by Prince. This spring she's dropped a ewe lamb and a ram lamb. Both excellent looking. |
| We're striving to maintain a registered flock as described by the Navajo-Churro Sheep Association. For breed standards, click here. The Churro's history, hardiness, and utility make it a breed worth preserving. | |
